This 50′ steel side, 14-panel, fixed-end gondola with low cover is painted black with yellow lettering. Built in 1964 as part of series 700515-700822, it ran on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. This gondola has an AAR designation of GBSR. GB defined by the AAR as An Open Top Car, having fixed sides, fixed or drop ends and solid bottom, suitable for (steel) mill trade.
